Club Soda

Situated in the heart of London, Club Soda is a mecca of mindful drinking. A low and no alcohol shop, tasting room and event space, this is the place to go if you're sober, sober curious or simply looking to try alternatives. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The shelves are stocked with an unimageable array of low and no alcohol options.

There are tables and chairs throughout the shop, so you can come in and enjoy a drink as you would at any bar. The Menu is varied - from wine, to beer, to cocktails - and the staff will talk you through the choices and make recommendations based on your preferences. On our first visit, I tried Oddbird sparkling white and Club Soda's version of a Dark and Stormy. Mr Sober AF had a glass of Newblood Shiraz and an Old Old Fashioned.

Club Soda is also a community. Events include Queers Without Beers, a free LGBT mixer that takes place every Thursday, cocktail making classes and appearances guest speakers. Their weekly newsletter has tips, advice and exclusive offers. They even provide an online courses on mindful drinking and how to stop drinking that can be worked through at your own pace.
